Very fast and dynamic development of the city enabled Kraljevo to grow into one of the biggest school centers in this part of Serbia.

To perform professional and pedagogical supervision, provide support for development planning and assure quality of institution operation and to perform other tasks stipulated by law, the Ministry forms organizational units to perform such activities outside the premises of the Ministry - the School Administrations in accordance with the law.

Within a School Administration, the Ministry:

•      performs professional and pedagogical supervision in institutions,

•      coordinates professional development of teachers, tutors, assistants, directors and secretaries of institutions,

•      provides support to development planning, development of preschool and school curriculums and assures quality education,

•     participates in preparation of education development plans for the area covered by a school administration and monitors its implementation,

•    maintains and updates an education data base and ensures the unimpeded flow of information within a unique information system of the Ministry,

•   performs other jobs in compliance with the law and other regulations.

Headquarters of the School Administration of Kraljevo is at 1 Jovana Sarca Square. School Administration of Kraljevo includes three districts: Raska District, Rasina and Moravica Districts.  

The education activity is carried out as follows: preschool education, primary and secondary education.
